Stargate Atlantis is pretty cool. It's one of the many shows I follow regulary. It (like most other Sci-fi shows) started the first season off with some odd episodes, like they didn't really know where they were going. It was still good though. And now they have found out what it's all (mostly) about.

An excellent series, and it has done a very good job distinguishing itself from it's sister show (and constant influence) SG1. Interesting premise, and the characters seemed to have settled rather quickly into good form.

I find the show is actually picking up. It started off slow but its a great series. 9/10

Great Series, At first you have to over come the whole stargate in a different galaxy why does this feel like a ride the sucsess train... but... the series is beautatious theres real good character development, at times better structure stories that sg1, a different chemestry and humour that works well, whilst mckay is highly anoying and useless in sg1, when separated from sam he builds nicely into his own funny character.

the series get better and in general has less pointless stupid filler episodes that plague sg1, like the 200th episode OMFG ... wrist//

And now it's - wait for it - canceled.

But on the bright side. There are rumours about a cameo from
The Asgard

On another bright side, there looks like there will be at least one Stargate Atlantis movie. They've also said that if that movie is anywhere near as successful as the two SG1 movies, we'll probably see more (plural) movies later on. Which also suggests that we might see more SG1 movies, obviously, if they did so well.

I welcome movies, if they're done like the two aforementioned ones, but I would prefer the series to go on. I'll take what I get, though, in the evil world of network television..

LOL, I totally missed that this one got cancelled as well so I was a bit surprised at the ending (saw the preair just now).
