1.63 alpha 1: science values are off

here's the thing.

in utopia i have 1% population as seen here:

Food 0 +0.0% Food Production 0
Military 6048 -2.1% Military Training Time 0

Channeling 0 +0.0% Magic Effectiveness & Rune Production 0


and according to angel:

Land: 777 Acres
Science cost: 189gc

Building effectiveness science off

i had a look around and couldnt find a thread,

on my science calculator it says i can recieve a +117%, maybe it is correct but i was thinking a +20% would be the max it could do. i may be wrong just wondering whats happening, or is it +17%

I'm operating on the working assumption that last age's formula is unchanged. Look in Swirve's forums, the Strategy forum, the Dwarf strat thread for more receent Tools data points. There are a couple of other threads (Pop science max, Tools science max) that are worth checking.

It is producing consistent results for the Tools science maximum, subject to rounding errors.

I only have 3 data points for Housing and 1 for Alchemy.

Here is a subset of the data - Max is using last age's formula.

DWARVES
Tools 1,588 500 0.3% 34.97%
Tools 2,429 550 0.4% 32.91%

Tools science formula data points

Yes, I know you know you don't know the formula, but I didn't see an option anywhere to upload my science, so here it is:

I am a HUMAN. Right now, Angel says I should have 3.5% tools science, and Utopia says 1.2%.

exactly.. we aren't complaing, we are reporting. and hopefully by pointing out that it's changed from last age.. and by giving the #'s of it being off maybe we can give a bit of insite on how to fix it.

Tools 4148 +0.7% Building Effectiveness

at 558 acres. I am suspecting maybe about 1 book per acre for an .1% increase in tools for now.
