My favourite book is The Catcher in the Rye. Haven't read it in a long time and maybe it wouldn't have the same impact now, but that's not the point.

When I first read it it opened my eyes to a whole new world of literature. Far beyond mere story telling. I say mere but some writers tell a damn good story. The point is sometimes it's about the writing not the story being written.

Anyway, that book turned me into a pretty voracious reader and I will always owe a great debt to Mr Salinger.

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.

Sophie's World. A 600 page thing on a girl learning about philosophy. Also the last real book I really read front to back, safe for Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab.

Lord of Light, Roger Zelazny. A wicked take on religion.

good judgement mostly comes from experience and a lot of that comes from bad judgement...

It was so fantastic. It Freed me from the depression I was stuck in, and man, it was great. Sooo trippy, lol.
