Gt it fixed! Part 4: Syria!
Part 4: Syria
We've been watching the meltdown in Syria for over a year now on our news networks. An uprising, part of the Arab Spring, against a tyrant called Assad. I guess the opinions on this matter aren't differing on wether or not Assad is a dick. The question is more: "How, as an international community, should we go about dealing with the Syria situation?" The international community might not be able to come to agreement, but perhaps here on UT we can. Should we get involved militarily? To what extend? Should we limit ourselves to diplomacy, possibly including economic sanctions and weapons trade embargoes? What would -your- roadmap be towards restoring peace in Syria? R.I.P. This isn't an easy one. It's not even as easy as Libya. Assad has got to go, that's the simple part. He's a viscous dictator, and it's clear that he can't be an effective leader of Syria. But it's not as easy as just putting the rebels in power either. There are some very real concerns with them as well, particularly their leader. This is less of a righteous rebellion and more of a civil war.

Good thing is that the Egyptians are heavily protesting this new regime as well.
