Building Effectiveness & Homes

Are homes effected by building effectiveness?

or does BE just effect percentage based buildings and not flat rate buildings?

BE doesn't affect homes, to the best of my knowledge, it only affects percentage based buildings.

no, BE DOES affect flat-rate buildings. It does not affect homes or dungeons, every other building in the game is affected by BE, stables max does not increase but the horse production per hour will. Homes and dungeons are not flat-rate buildings.

Yeah, there are three types of building bonuses: fixed capacity, flat-rate, and percentage-based. Note that some buildings are combinations of two of them (Stables, Guilds, and Banks). Fixed capacity building bonuses (Homes, Dungeons, and Stables capacity) are always the same. Flat-rate bonuses (Farms, Towers, Schools, Stables production rate, Guilds training rate, and Banks cash production) are affected by BE. Percentage based bonuses (everything else) are affected by BE and also by Decreasing Building Efficiency (the "next 1% is less effective than the last" principle).
